Perpetual Motion Machine Animation

This is a rough animation of the machine.

More on the Perpetual Motion Machine

The propose concept for the manner in which the machine moves itself is by using the repulsion of the magnets to repel the force of gravity. When the magnets repel, the magnet in the ring moves along the circumference of the disk while the hinged magnet moves upward. Eventually the magnet would come back down because of gravity to which another magnet would be within range to repel the hinge magnet again and force the disk magnet to move along the circumference of the disk. The idea is that this motion would continue indefinitely until the unit fails or when one of the two forces are no longer present.

If the gap that is created by the repulsion of the magnets is too small, it may prevent the machine from achieving perpetual motion. The issues of this setup should present itself when prototyping.

Perpetual Motion using Magnets and Gravity

There are many attempts to make magnetic motor and most of what I have seen has not included forces outside of magnetic forces. The method I am proposing uses the natural behavior of gravity and magnetism to create perpetual motion. This motion is dependent on the presence of both forces. The diagrams that follows after gives the concept of perpetual motion. Beyond the concept would be the actual execution which would be rather easy to reproduce.
